Why Two Profiles Are Better Than One.

I’m back.

I missed a few days writing on here, despite my setting myself a challenge to write this newsletter every day.

Why?

Because I created a second profile and it took a few days for everything to be moved over.

Why did I do that?

Maya Sayvanova

graciously let me know that my first profile was confusing, on my asking her for advice. I had wanted to grow my dog business newsletter over there, and also this one. But the two newsletters are so very different that it muddied the waters when looking through my work.

I can see her point. As a reader, I wouldn’t want to spend the time looking through a pile of posts I wasn’t interested in, to find the ones I was. Which left me in a bit of a quandary.

I didn’t want to choose EITHER newsletter to be my main one. I love both! So a second profile, just for MMC was born.

The team at Substack were extremely helpful in assisting me with the move - I just had to email them and then to confirm the move using the old email address that had been set up. I’m now going to check all my settings and podcast have moved correctly too.

So I shall continue publishing and writing as before, but now be much easier to find, and for you to sift through my waffling and chatter.

Despite having several day’s break, I’ve still somehow gained 4 more subscribers, which is awesome and I am super grateful!

I am now going to see if writing from a brand new profile, with no distractions, makes a difference too! I’ll let you know!
